Southern Company and its subsidiaries are at the forefront of innovation, sustainability and positive impact in the communities we serve.

Join us as we celebrate the first anniversary of our 136-MW Skookumchuck Wind Facility in Washington State.

Making a sustainable impact is about more than “business as usual.” It's about caring for our customers personally. Skookumchuck, the initial renewable project developed by Southern Power for Puget Sound Energy’s Green Direct program, is creating change that will support customers and communities for generations to come.

The program seeks to empower corporate and governmental entities to purchase 100 percent of their energy from a dedicated, local, renewable energy resource, while providing them clean, safe, reliable and affordable energy.

Through strong customer relationships and excellent customer service, Southern Power is committed to building the future of energy and helping our customers achieve their sustainability goals.
